GETTING TO IDAHO:

Idaho is not the center of the known world, but it just might be the best part of the world. So if you're coming from anywhere in the US or abroad you'll want to fly into Boise for most destinations in the Southern part of the State. For the Northern Panhandle the easiest route is to fly into Spokane Washington and travel by car East just an hour or so and you're here. Of course you can drive from anywhere in the US or Canada and major Interstates dissect the state East-West and North-South.

GETTING TO IDAHO'S PANHANDLE:

They don't call it a panhandle for nuttin'. Take a look at the Map and you'll immediately understand where it is lcoated. The long narrow strch of land that runs South to North all the way to the Canadian border. This is rugged country but it is dissected by the major East West Interstate Five. So if you are driving from anywhere in the US that is the fastest route in. Of course there are a great many smaller highways and byways that you'll find scenic and pristine. So consult a map and choose something a little off the beaten path. You'll love coming here.

Getting to Priest Lake:
Its far from everything but getting here is fairly easy year round.
- From Spokane its about 85 miles depending on your exact route and there are several.
- Let's presume you are coming from Washington, Montana or Southern Idaho
- And that you've found your way to Interstate Five in the Panhandle.
- Travel to Post Falls Idaho on the Interstate which is about 23 miles East of Spokane.
- Take Highway 41 North through Rathdum, past Spirit Lake and then into Newport Washington.
- Take Higway 2 east to Priest River (RIVER)
- Watch for the signs to Priest Lake. Go North on Highway 57 about 30 miles.
- You'll find yourself in emerald green forest and along side crystal clear blue Priest Lake.
