Quiet & Serene with Helpful Staff
I went there the weekend AFTER the Memorial Day weekend. My party of 8 stayed in one of the 5 BR Villa's. The grounds were quiet and beautifully maintained. The villa was clean, spacious, very well equipped with washer/dryer/dishwasher/full kitchen and both cooking and eating utensils. On arrival, the villa's DVD player didn't work properly. It was replaced within the hour. The staff were friendly, had the right answer for everything we asked about, (Let me help you with that right now) and were very helpful to include helping me launch and recover my boat. My kids had a great time in the lodge or on the 18 hole miniature golf course. The cove is well protected so keeping the boat in the water was not a problem. I imagine the place goes insane during spring break and other major holidays but while I was there..it was quiet. Another fine home in your collection
So we've stayed in a half dozen of your homes and I must say you've done it again. The Lotus Hale at Poipu Beach is simple and stunning. High ceilng great room, warm vibrant colors and a true Hawaiian feeling. We loved the plasma TV and the air conditioning but spent a lot of time just sitting on the screened in huge lanai. We have been to some great vacation rental homes, but this one takes the cake. Of course we love Priest Lake so that is part of it, but someone built this cabin just right. First class all the way. Perfectly laid out for our family
We have always stayed in a condo before but as our family grew that meant 3 or even 4 condos. So we finally picked a house and can't imagine a better one. Perfectly laid out for a larger group. It really is in the Heart of the Town
Our family loves Leavenworth and goes 2-3 times per year. We usually camp in the summertime and have stayed at a variety of places around Leavenworth in December. My husband and I just recently went to Oktoberfest and stayed at the Edelweiss. We had used Sunspots last year to rent a cabin and had a great experience, so we has similiar expectations this year. We booked a little late and all they had were "european rooms." The nicest part is that it really is in the heart of the downtown. We enjoyed people watching out the window and could watch the parade from our window. When we were tired or needed to drop off things or change clothes (or use the bathroom) it was close. Our experience was that it was close, clean, available, and fairly cheap considering other hotels in the area. It suited our purpose for the weekend — Anonymous, Puyallup, WA

We have felt right at home here.
We have felt right at home here at the condo, and on the island. For a wordkaholic, it can be difficult to just relax, but this palce makes exploring a fun and easy task. This island is begger than one can imagine, Our stay is for 3 weeks and though we've seen Waimea, Kokee, Hanapepe, Koloa, Poipu and Npali, we have hardy tasted this place. Ths full moons are amaxing. Can't Wait to Go Back
This has to be the best kept secret in Winthrop. Park directly in front of your door; coffee maker, fridge, microwave, blender! The room was very clean, neat and tidy. Very cabin like. My husband and I had the entire pool to ourselves both days. Gas BBQ's available in the park like setting beside the pool. Cozy beach towels provided for your pool use. Full grocery store, convenience store and gas station within walking distance. Downtown Winthrop just a mile away! We can't wait to return with lots of friends to share how much we enjoyed our stay! Rent a variety of types of rooms; we had the Honcho room but are looking forward to renting a Cabin next to the pool on our next visit. Yahoo, buckaroo! Ambiance on a budget in Winthrop
This place is a great value for the money! It plays upon the Old West theme of Wintrhop. Buildings and cabins are cedar in a western style. We stayed in Room 22 which had 2 queen beds, full bath, and a patio area overlooking the river... It was a Monday in July. It may be more crowded at other times. My husband used the pool; nobody around, very nice. My father-in-law, age 82, enjoyed it. We shared the room, which was large, cool, dark. Our room was in a 2 story bldg. At night, we could hear folks upstairs, but we had met them earlier on the grounds--it's that kind of friendly place. It is about a mile south of downtown Winthrop on Hwy 20, but no road noise. Rooms seem more private than cabins, but cabins looked quaint and nice too. We called ahead for reservations and got a standard room with 2 queen beds, just as requested. No problems at all. I recommend you request room along the river if available. My ratings for this hotel are: Value 5 stars. Rooms 3 stars. Cleanliness 5 stars. Service 3 stars. — Anonymous, Bellingham, WA

Amazing - spacious, a beautiful view, lovely furnishings
My husband and I and another couple spent a wonderful week in a condo in the Manualoha complex at the Poipu Kai Resort the last week in September 2004. The rental was through Sunspots in Seattle. The condo was amazing - spacious, a beautiful view, lovely furnishings and all amenities, wonderful artwork on the walls, and very clean and updated. The Poipu Kai grounds were beautifully kept, with flowers everywhere. We were about 200 yards from a gorgeous beach and used the pool and the ocean equally. Absolutely fell in love with the cabin.
My husband and I stayed at Marie's Cabin for Labor Day weekend 06, and we absolutely fell in love with the cabin. It was so romantic and peaceful. Even though we have traveled to many different palces around the world, this getaway was by far the most relaxing. We are planning a trip to Eruopre for 07, but we can't seem to stop thinking about the little cabin and our next visit. Very Quaint. Old-timey type place
Great place to relax. Cabins and rooms smell of glorious cedar and pine, and have a real clean and down-home atmosphere. Had a fantastic time staying here
Had a fantastic time staying here and exploring Kauai! We took a look at condos, hotels and resorts form Princeville Resort to the Hyatt and this place is by far the best!! Great location. Not too touristy, yet close enough to Waimea and the Coconut coast to make our outings a breeze. Well stocked and wonderfully laid back. I would not hesitate for a second recommending Poipu Secret to Friends and family interested in a trip to Kauai. I feel fortunate (and lucky) to run across such a great place! Wonderful Time
Wonderful time. Unit is well equipped. The waffle maker was a treat we enjoyed. We also did a lot of snorkeling. Thanks for the gear. Springtime in Chelan at the Totem House
We've been renting this house for a number of years and always come in the springtime. Summer is great I hear but its warm and sunny and uncrowded earlier in the year. We come to take life easy and I bring my trusty telescope and sit out on a darned patio to watch the stars. It may be the clearest skies in the lower 48. Fabulous Time here
We had a fabulous time here! Your beautiful home was rommy and comfortable. We spent a lot of time at Shipwreck Beach, golf at Kukuiolani Golf Course, hiking and horseback riding. We love Kauai. This was our second summer vacation in Kauai and we hope to do it again next summer. The only thing we couldn't find in the condo was a vase for the flowers we love to buy at the farmers market on Mondays at the baseball field. Love the Ukuleles you have decorated with.
